Day Thirty-Two

Oh, man! I am back on track. I must admit I've been purposefully avoiding working on the shawl because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get it figured out.  But, today, I spent about two hours unknitting the last round to get back to a place I was pretty sure was correct.  Then I re-knit that row and then the row that caused me SO much trouble.  The pattern repeat is 28 stitches.  In the beginning I had used markers to mark the beginning of each repeat.  I got to the point where they seemed to be in the way so I took them out and that's when I got confused.  So I put them back in and it makes all the difference.  If I had to make one suggestion to anyone attempting lace knitting, it would be to place markers at the beginning of each repeat.  It's much easier to focus on where there might be a problem. I'm excited to be back in the flow.

Day Thirty-Two knitting time...2 hours

Total knitting time...78 hours

PS. I didn't count the time spent unknitting toward the knitting time because I want to only count time actually spent in creating the project.
